The Solano County’s Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a $2,536,930 million on Tuesday January 07, to have the county sheriffs office patrol Rio Vista from February 01 2020 to January 31, 2021.
The city of Rio Vista experience “a high number of vacancies in other sworn law enforcement positions”, drastically impacting its ability to provide public safety services.
The Solano County Board of Supervisors approval of the agreement is not estimated to impact the county’s general fund. Expenses incurred from the operation will be offset with compensation from law enforcement service provided.
